The Economic Development Unit offers a free and confidential service to help with a range of issues faced by new and established businesses.

Our role includes:

• Actively seeking new business opportunities
• Preparing submissions for business attraction and expansion
• Providing local economy research
• Advice and referrals for new businesses
• Attracting and assisting skilled migrants
• Assisting with the location and selection of premises and sites
• Fostering links between retail, commercial, professional and manufacturing sectors
• Assisting businesses with sustainable waste management
