The City of Greater Bendigo will be a community leader by demonstrating a commitment to ecologically sustainable practices and outcomes.

Protecting our natural environment is complex. It involves strong partnerships with key stakeholders in the community and a strong commitment by Council to be an advocate for, and show leadership in ecological sustainable development.

The Natural Environment Strategy 2007-2010 provides the direction for more sustainable approaches in our operations as well as provides support for the sustainable development of the City through planning provisions and community education.
