Superannuation scheme needs changing
Incorporating principles of sustainable design into buildings offers a range of benefits to both building users and the environment. Sustainable buildings minimise operating costs, waste, energy consumption and water use, while being nicer places to be in. Natural light and good indoor air quality supports occupants' health, wellbeing and productivity.
The City of Greater Bendigo's Sustainable Building Design Policy, Guidelines and Checklist apply to new and refurbishment building projects that fall under the City's responsibility. These guidelines identify a variety of opportunities to improve sustainability and provide some technical information on each of these. While prepared to inform all phases of a building project, the main focus is on planning and design at which stage the Guidelines must be considered and response documented in the checklist.
As a Refit n' Save member you can access FREE workshops, home energy assessments and independent advice about sustainable products.
