The Accessible Events - A Guide for Organisers is available to assist those responsible for organising events such as conferences, festivals, annual meetings, award ceremonies, fundraisers and seminars which are accessible to people with disability.
The Companion Card promotes the rights of people with a disability, who require a companion, to fair ticketing at Victorian events and venues.

It is estimated that two million people in Australia become sick with food poisoning each year. If you are intending to sell food to the public from a temporary food premises within the City of Greater Bendigo you must be aware of your responsibilities around registering and food handling. This information outlines your responsibilities when selling food from an event, temporary or mobile food premises. It is in your best interest and legal obligation to ensure the food you sell is safe and suitable.
During your event Environmental Health Officers may inspect markets, events and festivals throughout the City of Greater Bendigo.
It is expected that all temporary food premises are set up to comply with the Temporary food premises guidelines for events and that the food sold to the public is safe and suitable for consumption.
If you do not comply with these requirements you will be instructed to cease trading and you could be issued with an on the spot fine.
A new website for temporary and mobile food businesses, food vending machine businesses and water carters operating in Victoria in now available. The website is called Streatrader.
Your registration will enable your organisation to trade anywhere in Victoria, provided you lodge a Statement of Trade via Streatrader.
The Streatrader system is now live. Proprietors/event holders will now lodge applications and manage their Statements of Trade (SOTs) and appliations using the on-line system.

Please note: you risk a fine and /or being turned away from the event if you fail to lodge a statement of trade within five (5) days prior to event and fail to display your current valid registration certificate at the event.
