Moons of the Solar System

Event Details

Our moon is only one of over three hundred moons in the solar system. Where are the others and what strange features do they have? This presentation will compare our own moon with those orbiting around other planets. Pictures of the latest moon recently discovered around Pluto will also be revealed.

The presenter, Dr John Wilkinson, has written three books on the solar system, the Moon and the Sun, he is a science educator and member of the Bendigo District Astronomical Society.
