Bendigo Station is just a 5-10 minute walk into the city centre. Just like in Melbourne, your V/Line ticket provides free local travel.

The V/Line daylink service between Adelaide and Melbourne stops in Bendigo daily.

Driving to Bendigo

If you're driving from:

  • Melbourne take the Calder Highway (A79)
  • Sydney - the Hume Highway (31)
  • Mildura - the Calder Highway (A79)
  • Horsham - the Wimmera Highway (B240)
  • Central NSW via Echuca - the Midland Highway (A300)
  • Melbourne Airport - follow the Sunbury signage on to the Calder Freeway to Bendigo.

Other transport

Light aircraft charter is available between Melbourne Airport and Bendigo Airport.

The Bendigo Airport shuttle service has three return trips daily from Melbourne Airport, seven days a week. Pick ups on route include Bendigo, Castlemaine, Kyneton, Woodend and Gisborne.
