Swimming Pool Condition Audit

In 2009 the City of Greater Bendigo commissioned a technical report to outline the condition of each seasonal outdoor swimming pool. This audit outlines the existing condition of each component of infrastructure at the time of inspection and provides a list of both broadly estimated maintenance and renewal work required to maintain the facilities in their current format.

Sporting clubs

There are hundreds of sport and recreation groups across Greater Bendigo which caters for the many diverse interests of local residents. A list of Sporting Organisations is available here.  If your club is not listed on this website, please contact us to have it added.

We provide grants to sporting clubs to develop their sporting facilities or programs. The grants are given on the basis of the club contributing some funds or in-kind labour towards the project. Applications for grants are invited in the Bendigo Advertiser during September each year. All enquiries should be directed to the Recreation Unit on 5434 6000.

Newsletter

The newsletter is produced Quarterly to keep recreation and sporting organisations informed of the latest issues, projects, funding opportunities and recreational activities.  To join the distribution list, please contact us.

Clubs and groups are encouraged to take advantage of the free newsletter that will be distributed electronically and by post at the beginning of each season.
