Over the last four years the Bendigo Inventor Awards has unearthed some amazing inventions and innovations.
These nationally recognised awards provide more than "fame and glory" for the winners. By being involved and applying you get access to a program of events designed to help, guide, support and mentor you on your inventor or innovator journey.
Open to anyone in the world, it's the breadth of entrants' experience and creative backgrounds that continues to make the Awards so unique. Engineers, students, scientists, technicians, creative thinkers, entrepreneurs, companies - even backyard inventors and tinkerers - all compete on an even playing field.

Bendigo - inspiring invention and innovation.
To identify, support and promote original ideas that will create employment and recognise Central Victoria as a centre for invention and innovation.
Bendigo has always been a hub for inventors and innovators. Our inspiring past includes inventions like the Chiko Roll and the Sunshine Harvester, and innovations such as community banks and Fernwood Womens Health Clubs. Some of Australia's most famous businesses were born in Bendigo - from Myer to Bendigo Bank and Leggo's pasta sauces.
Since its inception, the Bendigo Inventors Awards have grown, in the number and type of entries, their geographical reach and community interest. Over 400 entries have been received in the last 3 years, with over 40% of these coming from outside the City of Greater Bendigo region and 5% from outside Victoria.
