Dower Park Master Plan

The City of Greater Bendigo is pleased to announce that it has recently appointed specialist planning consultants Insight Leisure Planning to undertake an important recreation planning project in partnership with Council.

Dower Park is located in Kangaroo Flat and is used for a variety of sport and recreation activities.  The reserve is home to more than eight sports clubs and groups, including the Bendigo Women’s Football Club, Kangaroo Flat Football & Netball Club and Kangaroo Flat Sports Club.  The reserve is managed by a Committee of Management appointed by the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE).  Council has funded the development of a Master Plan for the site in order to establish a strategic plan that can be used to guide future improvements and priorities for the reserve, including management responsibilities.
