The City of Greater Bendigo has been formally advised today that it will need to find $10.3M to help top up a $450M shortfall in the Local Authority defined benefits superannuation scheme.

Local community groups and organisations can apply for a grant of up to $5,000 through the City of Greater Bendigo’s 2012/2013 Community Grants Program. This year there will be two rounds of funding offered. Round one opens on Wednesday, August 1 2012 and closes at 5pm on Friday, August 31 2012. The second round will open on February 1 2013.
