Local residents work in many of the design and production companies surrounding Los Altos in the region referred to as Silicon Valley. The relationship between Bendigo and Los Altos began in1987 and since then several delegations have visited involving cultural exchanges and events.
More recently Los Altos' own Main Street Singers performed in Bendigo.
Delegates from Bendigo visited Los Altos to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their relationship.
