Important information

Need help with your planning application?

If you have any queries about planning, or wish to talk to a planning officer before you lodge your application, a Planning Technical Officer and/or Town Planner is available at the Hopetoun Mill office between 8.30am and 5pm weekdays.  If you wish to see a specific planner, please phone ahead on 5434 6355 to make an appointment.

For larger, more complex proposals, it is suggested you contact the Planning Department to determine whether a pre-application meeting would be of assistance.  Please ensure you bring along any plans, documents or photos that may assist in the discussion.

A Town Planner attends the Heathcote service centre at 125 High Street, Heathcote every Thursday and is available from 10am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 4pm.  The Heathcote service centre can be contacted on 5433 3211.
