Loddon Mallee Waste & Resource Recovery Group

Recently, the Waste Management Groups in Victoria were restructured by amalgamating the 12 existing Waste Management Groups into 6 new groups. This has meant that the Calder Regional Waste Management Group, of which the City of Greater Bendigo was a member council, has now amalgamated with the Central Murray Waste Management Group and the Mildura Regional Waste Management Group forming the Loddon Mallee Waste & Resource Recovery Group covering 9 local government areas.

The new Loddon Mallee Waste & Resource Recovery Group Board consists of 4 councillor directors with Cr Barry Lyons as chairperson, Cr Neville Goulding, Cr Geoff Curnow and Cr John Arnold and 4 skill based directors, Russell Anderson, Brian Fox-Lane, Julie Green and Owen Russell.

Watch this space for further updates and links to the Loddon Mallee Waste & Resource Recovery Group once they are fully established.
