Schools Program - Streets to the Creek
The Rotary Club of Bendigo along with
Coliban Water, the City of Greater Bendigo, North Central Catchment
Management Authority and North Central Waterwatch run the 'Streets
to the Creek' Education Program for Grades 4-5 in the Bendigo area.
The program visits every school in Bendigo
over a 5 year period explaining how pollution reaches Bendigo Creek.
This program can be tailored to offer opportunities for other year
levels. Waterwatch is currently developing a Biology Unit 1 practical
activity relating to the Bendigo Creek.
