Bendigo Urban Stormwater Management Plan
In 2001, City of Greater Bendigo
developed an Urban Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP).
This plan identifies sources of pollution,
the impacts of the pollution and the activities that can be done
to improve water quality.
The activities are broken in to programs
including planning, infrastructure, education and awareness, and
training.

Current Activities
The City is now in the first year of
implementation of the SWMP. There are a number of activities happening
including education, source control, planning, structural control
and maintenance to reduce stormwater pollution. These activities are
occurring through 4 programs |
