Presenting to Council

Staff Working at a Table

We are committed to talking and listening to our community and invite community groups and organisations to present to councillors at informal meetings.

To arrange to present to Council, groups should submit an expression of interest using the form below.

The proposed topic for the presentation must meet the following criteria:

  • Align with our strategic direction (working together to be Australia's most liveable regional city), as outlined in the Council Plan
  • Meet an identified need and community benefit
  • Contribute to the community
  • Not be part of an existing program or Council initiative

If your group or organisation is selected to present to Council, you have 10 minutes to present and 10 minutes for questions.

We will contact your group to arrange the date and time for the presentation. If the matter has a particular deadline, this should also be stated in the expression of interest.
