Bendigo Urban Flood Study 2013

The Greater Bendigo Council has adopted the Bendigo Urban Flood Study 2013. This Study was commissioned in partnership with the North Central Catchment Management Authority (NCCMA) and undertaken by specialist hydrologic consultants, Water Technology.

The Bendigo Urban Flood Study area includes the Bendigo Creek catchment from Kangaroo Flat to Huntly, and the outlying suburbs of Maiden Gully, Strathfieldsaye and Junortoun, which drain into Myers Creek and Axe Creek.

The study involved detailed hydrological and hydraulic modelling of the major tributaries and overland flow paths, and is one of the most technically comprehensive studies ever undertaken in Victoria.
