Grocery and Takeaway Delivery
Supermarkets and grocery stores are classed as essential services and most remain open, although some have changed their operating hours.
We strongly encourage you to call or visit the website of your favourite supermarket if it is not listed to check hours of operation and if food delivery services exist.
Coles, Woolworths and some IGAs have established priority hour for persons at higher risk of transmission between 7 pm to 8pm every day for those who hold a Government-issued concession card, and those who are healthcare/frontline professionals.
Please check with your local stores for eligibility.
Many local cafes restaurants and fast food outlets remain open for takeaway and or delivery, so check with your favourite outlet to see if they remain operational. If a delivery service isn’t available, you should phone ahead before collecting your order.
