Call out for local bands to enter the Battle!
Calling all local music acts - registrations are open for the 2021 Yo Events Battle of the Bands competition which takes place from 7pm to 10pm, Saturday July 3 at the Old Church on the Hill, 36 Russell St, Bendigo.
The Battle of the Bands competition is open to young people aged between 12 and 25 years, in any type of music act - bands, singers, rappers, acoustic and DJs.
Each act will have approximately 15 minutes on stage, with the winning performance receiving a free recording session with Montville Lane Sessions studio in July 2021.
Greater Bendigo Youth Mayor Jack Smith said the Battle of the Bands is an opportunity for young musicians to showcase their talent.
“Over the years we have seen some fantastic young acts compete and we are hoping this year won’t be any different,” Jack Smith said.
“The Battle of the Bands is a great opportunity for young people to showcase their talent, get experience performing in a professional way while having the chance to win a great prize.”
