Lyttleton Terrace Customer Service Centre on the move

The City of Greater Bendigo’s Lyttleton Terrace Customer Service Centre is on the move!

From Monday December 9, you can find our new Customer Service Centre at 15 Hopetoun Street, Bendigo.

Director Corporate Performance Andrew Cooney said all face-to-face customer enquiries would need to be made at Hopetoun Street, as Lyttleton Terrace would be closed for customer enquiries after this time.

“We are looking forward to making the move to Hopetoun Street and have completed some small renovations to the office to make it easier for our customers,” Mr Cooney said.

“We’ve added a computer kiosk for customers to log an enquiry online, search for information or change their personal details, three meeting rooms and three booths have also been created for staff to meet with customers, and three to four staff will continue to provide traditional over-the-counter service.

“A ticket machine will be introduced in the coming weeks to help us manage busier periods and streamline customer service, so it will be similar to what customers experience when they visit government agencies such as Medicare.

“If customers arrive at Lyttleton Terrace by mistake, they can follow the handy yellow dots on the footpath to Hopetoun Street.

“A range of customer parking is available out the front of the Hopetoun Street office, including six, 30-minute free car parks and two, 10-minute free car parks facing the Customer Service Centre as well as one disabled park and one long vehicle park.

“The new Customer Service Centre is a clean, modern environment and will be our only customer service point in the city centre while the Bendigo GovHub is being built. We look forward to welcoming customers from next week and thank everyone for their patience while the works have taken place.

“Our customers can also continue to contact us by visiting www.bendigo.vic.gov.au to log a customer request or phoning 5434 6000.”
