An exciting opportunity exists in this newly created position to utilise your knowledge of Rates and Valuations to lead a small team whilst developing and implementing continuous improvement strategies. Improvements will focus on digital pathways, systems and processes. You will provide leadership, support and direction to the team and ensure a high level of customer support is always maintained, including through management of outsourced contracts.

As the successful candidate you will have a strong customer service focus and high level administrative and financial management skills. The City manages over 60,000 assessments, and as such you will have demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in rates or accounting within a high volume environment. Experience and exposure to valuations and property information functions within a local government context is also a great advantage.

If you have team leadership and coordination experience, a proven track record as an effective leader and hold a Degree or Diploma qualification with several years of subsequent relevant experience in Rates & Valuations; Accounting; and Local Government Administration, please get in touch - we would welcome your application.
