Creative Industries Officer
In this newly created role, you will play a key role in implementing the City of Greater Bendigo’s CREATIVE strategy. The strategy’s aim is about championing every part of creativity in our community, recognising its importance to health, wellbeing and community development, and supporting and developing its commercial aspects. It is about developing more opportunities for everyone to engage with culture and creativity.
You will ensure that the City continues to be a leader in cultural and creative industries and increase the profile of creative industries in the City, regionally and nationally.
You will facilitate collaboration and growth in the cultural and creative sector and broker relationships between creative industries, Councils, government and the private sector. You will also provide high quality, innovate and strategic input into a range of projects.
You will have a strong understanding of the cultural and creative industries sector, experience implementing strategies, undertaking research and project management skills.
If you hold formal qualifications and/or have experience in the cultural and creative industries together with an understanding of the creative landscape and key trends in the development of creative industries we welcome your application.
