Senior Leisure Services Officer
An exciting new opportunity has arisen within our Active and Healthy Lifestyles unit for a dedicated Senior Leisure Services Office. This role will be responsible for driving performance, participation and health & wellbeing outcomes of renowned regional scale recreation facilities within the City including the Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre, Bendigo Tennis Centre, Peter Krenz Leisure Centre and the Bendigo Regional Athletics Complex among others.
In this role you will utilise your knowledge and facility management experience within the sport and leisure sector to develop and maintain constructive, positive and strong partnerships with service providers to ensure they are meeting community needs.
Essential to this role are excellent communication and written skills a focus on customer service, a proven ability to develop strong partnerships, and a demonstrated ability to multi task. Previous experience within the recreation sector, community engagement or facility contract management will be highly regarded.
Some flexibility in working hours is required including early starts, weekends, public holidays and/or evening work.
