Strategic Planner – Design
We are seeking a dedicated Strategic Planner with highly developed analytical, investigative, creative and conceptual skills with a demonstrated ability to use these in the research and preparation of innovative strategic plans.
Greater Bendigo is a growing regional city, with the population expected to reach around 200,000 by 2050. This exciting role will be responsible for helping to plan for this growing population including the preparation, review and monitoring of major planning strategies and policies.
The role will also be responsible for providing high quality, innovative and timely strategic planning and urban design along with graphic communication input into various major projects being undertaken by the Regional Sustainable Development Unit and the City.
The successful applicant will have a degree or Diploma qualification with some relevant experience or substantial relevant experience in strategic planning/urban design or related discipline. A satisfactory police check is required for this position.
