Two meals on a counter bench

The Greater Bendigo hospitality and accommodation sector is alive and thriving! Currently there are 900,000 overnight visitors and two million day trip visitors.

The hospitality and accommodation sector is further boosted by the Bendigo Art Gallery, which is the largest art museum in regional Australia and a new state of the art theatre, Ulumbarra.

The City invites future businesses to build on an already outstanding culinary scene which offers restaurants and cafes of high calibre, such as Masons of Bendigo who won gold at the 2016 Australian Tourism Awards.

The City's accommodation sector is rich in heritage with providers leading the way such as the Gold Mines Hotel and the Shamrock Hotel, dating back to 1854. Then there is a twist of modern and chick through the Schaller Studio - Art Series Hotel and unique accommodation providers Stay Social Bendigo.
