Bendigo Sustainability Group (BSG)

The City works closely with the Bendigo Sustainability Group (BSG), which is a not for profit organisation leading the way in sustainable initiatives for business as well as residents.

BSG can educate business operators around;

  • Waste minimisation
  • Energy storage
  • Sustainable policy
  • Sustainable food and gardening
  • Re-usable materials such as cups, plates and bowls

BSG also provides an opportunity for like-minded business and community members to discuss practical sustainable initiatives at networking events and workshops.

Bendigo Manufacturing Group (BMG)

The Bendigo Manufacturing Group is an advisory group to the City. BMG is currently researching the impact of energy price increases on business.

BMG has previously undertaken a range of projects relating to energy including;
