Immunisations for children 10-19 years old

We provide secondary school immunisations. 

Year 7 students are eligible to receive vaccinations against:

  • Boostrix/Adacel - Diphtheria, Whooping Cough and Tetanus
  • Gardasil Vaccine (2 dose course) - Human Papillomavirus

Year 10 students are eligible to receive vaccination against:

  • Nimenrix - Meningococcal A C W and Y

You will be asked to sign a Secondary School Vaccination Program Consent Card and you will be provided with information about the school immunisation program at the beginning of each school year.

All students immunised at a school session will receive a 'Record of School Immunisation' form to retain at home with any other immunisation records.

Any students who are absent from school on the day of vaccinations will receive a letter providing information regarding where to obtain catch up vaccinations.

If you would prefer to have your child immunised at your GP please complete the Secondary School Vaccination Program Consent Card and give it to your school or advise our Immunisation Team on 03 4408 6590.
