What to expect in your maternal and child health appointment
Key maternal and child health visits
The maternal and child health service provides an opportunity to meet with qualified maternal and child health nurses. In each visit you will discuss things such as your child's growth, your mental health and wellbeing, and key information about your child's development.
Your first appointment will be a home visit, with the remainder of the visits taking place at your nearest maternal and child health centre.
Visit the Better Health Channel Website to learn more.
Our expert staff can help you adjust to your new role as a parent, manage challenging infant and child behaviour, or with referrals to other specialist service providers.
