Women looking at art

The Heathcote Residents’ Resource Hub is a community space for residents to access council and community services and information. It shares a building with the local library.

The Hub includes an art gallery where local arts and crafts are displayed and a workspace that can be used for information sharing, creative pursuits, social interaction and community engagement and building.

Enquire about holding an activity, event, exhibition, workshop or meeting at the Hub.

The Workshop Space

This space is perfectly suited for art and craft making activities, including artists who are actively creating work and artists who are teaching or conducting workshops.

The Art Gallery

The gallery is suitable for exhibitions and workshops and includes a professional gallery hanging space and lighting. This space can be used for other activities including community meetings and forums, children's story time and more.

The Heathcote and District Newcomers group meets in the Hub and the Library, which is also located in the building, is planning to run children's story times in the space.

Guest speakers attend the space to speak on current and topical matters such as fire prevention at the beginning of fire season or the community grants process.

Activities and meetings at the hub

  • Heathcote Knitters – Fridays from 9.30am
  • Heathcote Artists – second and fourth Tuesday of the month 10am–2pm
  • Heathcote Quilters – second Wednesday of the month from 10am
