FIRE DANGER PERIOD COMMENCES MIDNIGHT 4 DECEMBER 2016, NO BURNING OFF PERMITS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER THIS DATE

The City of Greater Bendigo is committed to protecting the Greater Bendigo community from the devastation and loss of life associated with fire.  

It is important that you understand Fire Danger Period and Total Fire Ban days, what types of fires can be lit when, and if you require a permit for burning off to reduce fuel on your property:
