Need planning advice before submitting your application?

If you have any queries about the planning process, or need advice on a simple proposal, planning advice can often be given over the phone, by email, or at the Planning customer service counter.

Before submitting your planning application for a specific proposal, it may be necessary to have a pre-application meeting with a planning officer to discuss the proposal and identify any key areas of concern early on in the process. This may help to process your application quicker.  Please see details on when pre-application meetings are recommended and what you need to do.
