Roads and drainage

We are responsible for local roads, nature strips and drains, including thousands of kilometres of local sealed and unsealed roads, hundreds of kilometres of footpaths, kerb and channel, and underground drains as well as drainage pits, bridges, bus shelters and regulatory and warning signs.

Each year we manage a program of road and street maintenance. You can find out if we are planning road closures and road works in your neighbourhood. We also work with events to organise road closures and traffic management.
