Central Victorian Indigenous Film Festival 2018
Back for its second year, the Central Victorian Indigenous Film Festival is showcasing an exciting range of Indigenous films from across Australia.
Join us as we celebrate National Reconciliation Week 2018 and enjoy films created by, starring and telling stories about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Films are screening across Bendigo at various locations and the Festival also features a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony at the Bendigo Library, guest speakers by local Elders and members of the Bendigo Local Aboriginal Network, and a Q&A on Aboriginal Astronomy at Bendigo's very own Planetarium!
As part of this year’s Film Festival, a number of local organisations will also be hosting Indigenous film screenings for their staff and volunteers. Keep an eye out for information from your organisation about upcoming opportunities.
Nine film screenings are occurring across the week at various venues in Bendigo.
Various locations across Bendigo (The Capital Theatre, Bendigo Library, Star Cinema, Bendigo TAFE, BDAC, Bendigo Senior Secondary College, Bendigo Discovery Centre.
