Golden Square Swimming Pool

Golden Square Pool is a seasonal, family-friendly swimming pool that has three pools. It is run by Golden Square Pool Committee of Management.
 

Swimming season

Open from November until the March long weekend.

The 2022-23 swimming season is November 26, 2022 – March 13, 2023.

Swimming Lessons

VicSwim operates at Golden Square Pool for the month of January.
 

Opening hours*

Open from Saturday November 26.

School Term

Daily: 3.30pm–7pm

Extended hours: when forecast is temperature is 33 degrees and above, the pool closes at 8pm.

School Holidays

Weekdays: 1pm - 7pm
Weekends: 1pm - 7pm (open from 11am when 33 degrees and above)

Extended hours: when forecast temperature is 33 degrees and above, the pool closes at 8pm.

Note: Opening hours are based on the temperature (forecasted by the Bureau of Meteorology) at 5pm on the day prior. Golden Square Pool will not open if the temperature is forecast to be 23 degrees or less. Opening hours are at the discretion of the lifeguard on duty and the Committee of Management.

Golden Square Swimming Pool sells City of Greater Bendigo Season Passes. Standard Season Pass tickets purchased at one of City of Greater Bendigo's other pools are accepted at Golden Square Pool.
 

What is a family?

A family ticket gives admission to two adults and all dependent children (under the age of 16) who appear on the Medicare Card.

Please note that children's entry is subject to Watch Around Water supervision responsibilities.
