Axedale Public Hall and Preschool

Located along McIvor Road in the centre of Axedale, this hall is adjacent to the park which features a playground, skate park and undercover picnic/barbecue facilities. 

Axedale hall is a large red brick building that is home to the local preschool, and is also able to accommodate a variety of community and private activities and events.

• Urn: Wall water boiling unit as well as 8 & 10L urns
• Crockery: At least 120 - cups with saucers, mugs, dinner plates, side plates, bowls
• Cutlery: At least 120 - knives, forks, spoons & teaspoons as well as 48 – cake forks

• Stage is 5m X 4M 
• Fits 100 people comfortably
• There is an additional small meeting room

Bonds and Insurance

• General bond $200
• Alcohol bond $500
• Event/hire with no significant set/pack up - $75
• Event/hire needing significant set/ pack up - $120
• For short hires or meetings – contact committee of management
• All hirers must have public liability insurance. Under certain conditions the City of Greater Bendigo’s Community Public Liability Insurance policy can provide coverage at no cost for up to $20,000,000 for Council owned or controlled buildings and or land, to hirers who do not hold a public liability insurance policy. The committee of management can provide further details on this.
