Built in 1900, the Heathcote Senior Citizens and Girl Guides’ Hall was originally built as a Mechanics’ Institute. Located along High St in Heathcote, the distinctive red brick building has served local community groups for more than one hundred years.

Parking:

  • Street parking is available both on High St at the front of the building, and on Camp St at the rear
  • Disability accessible spaces at the front of the building

Disability access:

  • Hall is accessible by ramp
  • Doors are wheelchair wide
  • All rooms well-lit

Kitchen:

  • Senior Citizens’ hall has a fully functional kitchen
  • Girl Guides’ hall has a kitchenette
  • Crockery is available for both kitchens

Size:

  • Senior Citizens’ hall is 12 x 9m
  • Girl Guides’ is 9 x 5.5m

Floor:

  • The Senior Citizens' Hall has a polished wooden floor
  • Girl Guides' Hall is carpeted

Hiring restrictions:

  • Hiring subject to availability
  • All users must have public liability insurance, however we can assist you with this
