Information about Council, Meetings, Councillors and how they make decisions.
Greater Bendigo has nine elected Councillors, three representing each municipal electoral ward. The Council is responsible for making decisions about local issues and ensuring that Greater Bendigo is a progressive, vibrant and caring community. Decisions are made at Council meetings that are held each month.
Councillors conduct informal community engagement activities to connect with residents to exchange views, ideas and information. The aim is to strengthen the Councillors’ connections with the community, to build awareness of localised issues and to meet residents face to face.
