Other events featured throughout the program include tours, ways to get active, come and try days, multicultural events, cooking demonstrations, art competitions, morning teas, old time dancing, open days, movies and much more.
City of Greater Bendigo Mayor Cr Andrea Metcalf said the annual Seniors Festival is a fantastic opportunity for older adults to connect, be active and involved in the many activities available during the festival week.
“This year’s program is packed full of great events with something for everyone and with many events either free or low cost it’s a great time to venture out and try something new,” Cr Metcalf said.
“The theme for this year’s festival is Learn, Love Live and we encourage older adults to get out and about and enjoy the activities on offer.”
