A regional circular scan and upstream resource mapping project.
The nine local governments in the Loddon-Mallee-Campaspe Region engaged Aurecon and Lifecycles to identify a set of circular economy opportunities for their region. The project, led by the City of Greater Bendigo, sought to break the narrative around Circular Economy in Victoria focused predominantly on waste and recycling efforts by councils. It identified and quantified 9 key implementable Circular Economy solutions where regional materials and products could be recirculated back into the local economy to realise environmental, social and economic benefits for the region.
