We believe gender equality benefits all of us and requires a commitment from all of us.
In March 2022, the City adopted the Equity For All Gender Equity Action Plan as its inaugural workplace gender equity action plan. The plan sets out to enhance the City's organisational performance across seven workplace gender equality indicators specified in the Gender Equality Act 2020:

- Gender composition of governing body
- Equal remuneration
- Sexual harassment in the workplace
- Recruitment and promotion
- Flexible work and leave
- Gender segregation in the workplace
