Subject to a successful planning permit approval process the City is preparing to demolish the former clubrooms of the South Bendigo Football Netball Club which were constructed in 1979 and located at the Queen Elizabeth Oval at the corner of View and Barnard Streets, Bendigo. The City is also planning to remove the old toilet block located at the northwest end of the grandstand.

Former tenants South Bendigo Football Netball Club vacated the clubrooms when they moved into new purpose-built facilities at the Kennington Recreation Reserve in 2022.
The 2014 Rosalind Park Recreation Precinct Masterplan outlines the removal of the pavilion and two possible options for returning the site to parkland for the enjoyment of the wider community in the long term. However, there are no plans to undertake such a project in the short term.
