Bendigo Airport is committed to becoming a front runner in offering an inclusive and accessible community, catering to people from all walks of life who visit, reside, work, and engage in recreational activities within our city. Our dedication to creating a safe and accessible environment extends to our airport, where we aim to provide individuals with disabilities the necessary support and space they require, precisely when they need it.

It is important to recognise that not all disabilities are immediately apparent, often making travel a stressful experience, particularly for those with hidden disabilities. Hidden disabilities encompass a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Mobility impairments
  • Mental health disorders
  • Learning difficulties
  • Speech impairments
  • Visual impairments
  • Hearing loss
  • Respiratory and chronic conditions that significantly impact day-to-day life experiences.
