Residential parking permit

Using a residential parking permit

Permits only exempt a vehicle from time restrictions in the allocated location, they do not guarantee availability of a parking space.

Permits are not valid outside of the allocated location.

Your permit must be displayed to be valid; you may be issued with a parking infringement if you don't display your permit.

The permit does not allow any type of illegal parking including parking on footpaths, in no stopping zones, on nature strips or other restricted zones.

Permits expire each year on September 30. There is an application fee, which is reviewed annually.

Permit cancellation

Your permit is automatically cancelled after the expiry date and may be cancelled at any time if you misuse it or breach the conditions of use.
