Deceased pet notification
If your registered dog or cat has passed away please notify us online so we can amend the registration details.

Notify us of your new address
If you are a property owner and ratepayer, own cats and dogs, or receive other City services, we require that you tell us if you change your address.
Non-receipt of rate notices and other City of Greater Bendigo accounts such as animal registrations, are not considered to be an acceptable excuse for late payment of rates or other City of Greater Bendigo accounts.
If you haven't received a rate notice by the end of August, it may be that we have not been notified of your change of address.
To change your address details you can use the online form and from the Request Type drop down list select Mobile - Change Your Address:
Order an additional bin
If you need an extra recycle or organics bin, the request needs to be made by the property owner or the authorised real estate agent for the property. They will need to accept the additional service charges on the property rates.

Once your request has been submitted and processed, an officer will attend the nominated property within 1-10 working days to allocate the additional bin/s.

Once your request has been submitted and processed, an officer will attend the nominated property within 1-10 working days to allocate the new bins.

Report a footpath that needs maintenance
If you find a footpath that has a broken or cracked surface, cracked or dislodged pavers, uneven surface, or that needs sweeping, you can ask us to fix or maintain it.
Once your request has been submitted and processed, an officer will inspect the footpath and will program the required maintenance to be carried out.

Report a missed bin
To ensure your bin is emptied on collection day, please:
- Have bins out by 6am
- Place the bins with the wheels facing away from the kerb
- Keep at least 50 cm between bins or other objects
- Make sure the bins weigh no more than 60kg
- Make sure the lid is closed
Once your request has been submitted and processed, we will contact you to advise when the collection truck will return, please ensure you leave your bin kerbside and that you add your contact details to your online request form.

Report a missing or damaged street sign
If you find a damaged or missing traffic or street sign please let us know. This includes stop, give way, keep left, street name signs etc.
Once your request has been submitted and processed, an officer will investigate and program repair/replacement of the sign. Should the sign be the property of another authority we will report this to them on your behalf.

Request a larger or smaller bin
To ask for a larger or smaller bin, the property owner or authorised real estate agent needs to make the request and accept the adjusted services charge to the property rates.
Once your request has been submitted and processed, an officer will normally attend the nominated property within 1-10 working days to swap the bin. Please place the bin in an easy to access location near the front of the property boundary so that it can be seen. Where possible please try to keep your bin empty until it has been attended to.

Request a replacement bin
We will replace a missing or stolen bin, but can only supply you with the same sized bin as listed on the property’s rates.

We require that all cats and dogs be registered and wear a registration tag attached to their collar at all times. If your pet is registered and it loses its City of Greater Bendigo registration tag, you need to request a replacement. We will mail a lifetime tag for your pet at the postal address you provide.

Request a tree inspection
If you are concerned about a tree's proximity to powerlines, or think that it needs attention, our expert arborists are called in to do a tree inspection.
That inspection determines if any works are required, including clearing, tree pruning, planting and removal.
If maintenance is required it will be prioritised according to the risk it presents or the availability of resources.

Request bin repairs
You can request repair or replacement of your damaged City of Greater Bendigo issued rubbish, recycling and or organics bin.

Request organics bin liners
Additional compostable caddy liners can be obtained free of charge (limits apply) by phoning Customer Service or by ordering online.
Once your request has been submitted and processed, an officer will normally attend the nominated property within 1-10 working days to deliver your organics bin caddy liners.
