Whether you're just starting to notice changes in your hearing or have been navigating it for years, this session offers a chance to connect with others who understand. Light refreshments and Auslan interpreters provided.
Workshop Objectives:
- Understand the basics of hearing loss and its impact
- Learn about assistive technology available
- Learn about effective communication strategies
- Know where to access support in Bendigo and surrounds, including Expression Australia and government programs
- Lived experience presentation from a senior with hearing loss
- Q & A and 1:1 support
