Building Search File Request

Use this form to obtain copies of building documents such building permits, plans or certification documents. 

Depending on the age of the files, your request may require a search to be conducted at our archive facility. Please allow a minimum of 15 working days for files to be retrieved.

Applicants will be contacted if further information is required and once the search has been completed, the files will be provided.

Building Search File Request

In 1994, the City of Greater Bendigo was formed by amalgamation of the Borough of Eaglehawk, Shire of Marong, Shire of Huntly, Shire of Strathfieldsaye and Shire of McIvor. During this time, records from each respective shire were merged to one facility, however, during the process some files were misplaced resulting in some file searches today being unsuccessful.

We cannot guarantee that a file will be recovered, or that specific items requested will be contained in a file. No refunds will be provided should these circumstances occur.
