Only things that can't be recycled or recovered in any other way should go to landfill. This will help us to lower our waste management costs, and have a positive effect on the environment.
Expect to be turned away if these are in your load
We will refuse loads that include materials that fall outside of our EPA licence for the site.
If your load includes a significant amount of material that could be recycled or reused, it will be refused. This includes, but is not limited to, noticeable amounts of:
- Polystyrene
- Cardboard
- Metal
Contact us if you have questions about what materials we will accept to avoid conflict at the gate if a load is refused.
Top tip: If you place tyres on top they can be disposed of correctly first. Then vehicles are able to be weighed so you avoid paying the unsorted fee.
