State Government legislation requires all pools and spas to be registered. Owners must also have safety barriers inspected and submit a compliance certificate every four years.

Register your pool or spa or lodge a compliance certificate using our online portal.
A Building Permit or Certificate of Final Inspection does not mean your pool or spa is registered. Registration is a separate process.
Fees
- Registration of pool / spa built before November 1, 2020 – $92.20
- Registration of pool / spa built after November 1, 2020 – $37.10
- Compliance certificate lodgement – $23.90
- Non-compliance certificate lodgement – $449.50
Compliance certificates
To get a compliance certificate you must hire a private pool and spa inspector. Certificates must be submitted within 30 days of issue through the same online portal used for registration.
