Angela has had a diverse career in Local Government and private industry across many executive leadership roles.
Angela has held leadership roles in executive banking as well as extensive experience as a Corporate Executive and Acting CEO at Mackay Regional Council and most recently Melton City Council.
The Corporate Performance Directorate's mission is to lead and support the organisation to achieve great results on behalf of the community.
The Directorate is responsible for:
- Customer service, communications and engagement to respond to and inform our community
- Managing financial resources, including leading the annual budget process and raising and collecting rates
- Developing and supporting our most valuable asset – our staff
- Ensuring the highest standards of governance and probity in all elements of Council’s operations
- Improving organisational performance including through change management, service improvement and innovation, business planning and corporate strategy
- Providing reliable digital and information technology to ensure the organisation operates efficiently and meets the needs of our customers
