Cr David Fagg is a first-time councillor, and lives in Long Gully. Cr Fagg has lived in the Whipstick Ward for 15 years, and is married to Kylie, with whom he has two young sons. He is a qualified youth worker and secondary teacher.
Cr Fagg ran on a platform to make the neighbourhoods of the Whipstick Ward safer, healthier and more vibrant places where people want to live, work and raise their families. His focus is to expand services for young people and families, push for fair distribution of budget funds across Greater Bendigo, and enable communities to implement their priorities.
He will advocate for safer walking and cycling paths across the Whipstick Ward, and encourage Council to buy a majority of its products and services from the local community.
He looks forward to hearing from the community and encourages people to get in touch by email or you can learn more about him and his vision for our community on his website.
